Hi, I'm Annette!
I am a Brooklyn based AEA actor and teaching artist originally from the small town of Cape Girardeau, Missouri. I got my start in performance at an early age in dance and improv classes and danced competitively for a number of years. My love of dance led to an interest in theatre which quickly grew into a passion.
I am a proud company member and teaching artist at Mile Square Theatre in Hoboken, NJ where I have performed in shows like Core Values and Circle Mirror Transformation. I am particularly interested in the development of new work both on stage and on screen. I am excited and committed to deepening my understanding of all texts, old and new, and to continue growing as an actor and human being through my love of storytelling. Apart from acting, I absolutely love my work as a teaching artist working with early childhood and elementary aged students. I see my work not only as an opportunity to spread a love for play and stories but also to instill vital social skills like confidence, cooperation, and empathy. When I'm not acting or teaching you'll probably find me knitting!
